Bio of Pete Cavitt
After serving honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam era, I began my aviation career as a Certified Flight Instructor and Charter Pilot while working my way through the General Aviation industry – including positions as Chief Pilot and Director of Operations for various Part-91 & Part-135 operators.
My career has included a 24-year stint as a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for all levels of pilot certification as well as Type Ratings in many different types of jet aircraft.
Additionally for many years I have been contracted as a Test Pilot for the Japan Coast Guard on their Falcon-900A's.
Type Ratings include: B757 B767 CE500 DA10 DA20 DA50+900ABC/EX DA2000 GIV GV.
Having logged over 20,000 hours of World-Wide operational experience without accident, incident or violation of any kind, I pride myself on an excellent reputation and am available to share my expertise as a mentor to other pilots and as a consultant & advisor to corporations and high net-worth individuals when it comes time to acquire aircraft. Over the course of my career I have been involved in many acquisitions from the full spectrum of General Aviation aircraft.
For the past several years I have also been a Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (GAC) approved contractor and as a result of this have had many assignments from this affiliation – including Entry Into Service (EIS) work for VVIP Operations in the Middle East, as well as supervising Initial Operating Experience (IOE) for various operations throughout the World.
